Lowest Level of the House is Framed

On 4 March 2007, my Dad and I took some pictures of our house under construction.

The lowest floor is framed out.

I'm holding a nail as I stand on the sub-floor of the middle level.

At the bottom level, rough plumbing and electrical were done and the gas lines were installed. Rebar was set for pouring of the concrete floor.

I'm not even sure what I'm holding while I stand where my bedroom will be.

Kids, don't try this at home. I'm walking the gangplank above the lowest floor of the house.

End of the Spring Soccer Season

I played my second season of soccer and moved up to the 7-9 year-old age bracket. I was the youngest on my team.
We practiced hard and played well. I learned to play positions and pass the ball to teammates.

My team was called the purple dragons. Our coach was great--she's a trial attorney, and she's not afraid to talk!. She gave us lots of helpful instruction and feedback.

After our final game, we walked over to the opposing team to touch hands.

Our coach gave us pizza after our final game. And yes, the guy next to me has a mullet. Let's never speak of it again, ok?
